Soccer tipsters The coronavirus struck two of Bayern at once

Bayern (Munich) will be without several of their main players in Saturday`s Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim. Among them are two midfielders Leon Goretzka and Javier Martinez, who tested positive for coronavirus and were quarantined. Head coach Hansi Flick said the club is in contact with local health authorities because of the infected, and the two are in question for a trip to Qatar for the World Club Championship (February 4-11). There, Bayern will play in the semifinals on February 8. For this weekend, the champions will be without reserve goalkeeper Alexander Newbel, who suffered an ankle injury in yesterday`s training session and will probably be out of the squad for three to four weeks. Midfielder Corentin Tolisso will also miss the match with Hoffenheim, as well as new addition Tangi Nianzu, who is recovering from injury.




Bayern will try to avenge Hoffenheim for the 1:4 defeat in the second round of the season, which ended the team`s series of 32 games forecast by soccer picks without a loss and the series of 23 consecutive successes. Despite showing erratic form, after three consecutive victories Bayern already have a lead of seven points at the top in the standings of the German championship.
